About the role

We are seeking an aspiring product strategist with a keen interest in Higher Education to fill the exciting role of Product Strategy Manager (HE). This position will make a significant contribution as we drive forward with new product developments and seek continued opportunities to experiment and learn. You will bring your interest in product management approaches, knowledge of digital products and enthusiasm for Higher Education to shape the future of our Academic publishing. We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge. About the role This role sits within the Digital Publishing department of the Academic product group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. The department's remit comprises two principal accountabilities: digital publishing product strategy, and cross-functional operational management of digital publishing projects. Working closely with the Senior Product Strategy Manager (HE), this role drives the strategic direction and global growth of our digital publishing products. You will: Define the vision and strategy for a portfolio of digital publishing products throughout their lifecycle from ideation to maturity or exit. Establish an insight driven approach to identify opportunities with systematic gathering and analysis of customer needs, market trends and competitor activity. Work closely with colleagues in Academic Technology, Market Development, Editorial, UX and a broad range of business stakeholders to identify and prioritise solutions and refinements to your product strategy roadmap.
