Position: Cambridge Lower Secondary English Educator
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Educator to join our vibrant learning community. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the Cambridge Lower Secondary framework, strong language and literacy instruction practices, and a deep commitment to nurturing confident, creative, and reflective learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through interactive and inquiry-driven learning experiences
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, communication, and independent learning
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Assess and document student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies
- Encourage a love for literature, language, and effective communication
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences and enrichment opportunities
- Promote global perspectives, learner confidence, and lifelong learning skills
Preferred Profile & Qualifications
- Degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Experience teaching Cambridge Lower Secondary English or similar international curricula preferred
- Experience in international schools or learner-centered environments is an advantage
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and language development strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Passion for nurturing curious, confident, and compassionate learners
