Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolhapur for an Experienced Vice Principal specializing in the Cambridge curriculum. The Vice Principal will oversee academic programs, ensure curriculum alignment with Cambridge standards, and provide leadership to faculty and staff. Responsibilities include mentoring teachers, evaluating performance, facilitating professional development, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Vice Principal will also collaborate with stakeholders, support student development, and uphold the standards of excellence and values that SGIS represents.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Cambridge curriculum and assessments.
- Leadership abilities, including mentoring educators, managing teams, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational skills to manage academics and operations efficiently.
- Commitment to the holistic development of students, fostering values, and supporting extracurricular growth.
- Relevant teaching or administrative certifications; a degree in Education or related field is desirable.
- Prior experience in an international school setup is an asset.
- Proficiency in English; familiarity with additional languages is a plus.
