Crimson World School, Agra is inviting applications for the position of Cambridge English Teacher. We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to teach English in accordance with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a learner-centric, inquiry-based teaching approach.


KEY RESULT AREAS & TASKS

  • Teach English to secondary/senior secondary students (IGCSE / AS & A Level) as per Cambridge curriculum guidelines.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with Cambridge learning objectives.
  • Prepare students for Cambridge assessments, including coursework, speaking/listening components, and written examinations.
  • Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical analysis with a global perspective.
  • Design and assess assignments, projects, and internal evaluations in line with Cambridge standards.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, portfolios, and student progress documentation.
  • Provide differentiated instruction, remedial support, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Integrate digital tools, research-based methodologies, and interactive teaching practices.
  • Facilitate classroom discussions, debates, and presentations to enhance communication skills.
  • Communicate student progress effectively during PTMs, academic reviews, and reports.
  • Participate in school events, curriculum planning, and professional development initiatives.


CANDIDATE PROFILE SPECIFICATIONS

  • Education: Postgraduate in English (M.A. English) with B.Ed. (mandatory).
  • Cambridge Certification/Training: Relevant Cambridge training or certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE / AS & A Level) or an international school.

  • Strong command over English language and literature with an international perspective.
  • Thorough understanding of Cambridge curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment patterns.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
  • Strong mentoring skills for senior students, including university readiness.
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms, LMS, and modern teaching tools.
