Key Responsibilities:
Create and optimize CAM programs for 5-Axis CNC/VMC machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and GD&T.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
Verify tool paths and optimize cycle times.
Support machine setup and resolve programming-related issues.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing.
Maintain quality standards, productivity, and safety compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–4 years of experience in CAM Programming.
Hands-on experience with 5-Axis CNC/VMC programming and machining.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Good understanding of CNC machines, cutting tools, tooling, and machining processes.
Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, NX CAM, or similar.
Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
