We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso development and Java programming. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Calypso architecture, Java/J2EE technologies, financial products, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Calypso-based solutions in a banking and financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and enhance Calypso applications using Java and related technologies.
- Work on Calypso modules, workflows, configuration, and custom development based on business requirements.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Java-based components, APIs, interfaces, and integrations.
- Work with Calypso APIs and frameworks to implement business functionality and system enhancements.
- Integrate Calypso with external systems and downstream/upstream applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide technical resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and release activities.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, and migration activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and SDLC processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Calypso development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE development.
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Multithreading, and Java design patterns.
- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle.
- Experience with Calypso APIs, Customization, Workflow, and Configuration.
- Good understanding of Calypso architecture and application components.
- Experience working with XML, JSON, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
