IT Networking Lead

Our client is a leading High Frequency Trading firm working on global exchanges. They are hiring for IT Networking Lead who would be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the firm's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, low latency, and security. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement network infrastructure in colocation for low latency exchange connectivity Design and implement network infrastructure for inter and intra data centres Develop scalable network architectures to accommodate growing business requirements Optimize network performance for local, wide-area, and data center networks. Optimize configurations for minimal packet loss, latency, throughput and jitter. Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network efficiency and reliability. Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Key Skills Required: Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent. Experience in colocation data centers and exchange connectivity along with managing low-latency network infrastructure, preferably in the financial industry. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast). Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware like Cisco, Arista, Juniper Experience with automation tools for network configuration like Ansible, Python scripting Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a network operations team.
