Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager who has full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including requirements gathering and definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare. This position will be full-time and Hybrid Bengaluru.

What You’ll Do

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and in accordance with PM Procedure

  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals, customer expectations, and organizational priorities

  • Identify key stakeholders and establish stakeholder engagement a communication approach

  • Develop detailed project management plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans

  • Establish baselines for scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics for performance tracking

  • Define project governance structure, roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths

  • Plan risk management, communication, quality, and change management strategies

  • Effectively plan and manage project financials, resource utilization, and overall performance metrics

  • Manage end-to-end project execution to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure tasks are clearly defined and assigned

  • Lead project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder presentations

  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure aligment on project goals

  • Ensure delivery outcomes meet defined success measures

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations

  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely reporting of status, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies

  • Track project performance using KPIs, metrics, and analyze trends/data for continuous improvement

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans

  • Manage scope changes through formal change control processes

  • Escalate issues proactively with clear context and recommended actions

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, procedures, methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid), and governance frameworks

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation including plans, RAID logs, reports, and repositories

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

  • Has at least 7 years' experience in IT industry, and at least 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year of experience in Business Analysis

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Software Development Lifecycle SDLC - Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), tools and templates to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

  • Knowledge of PMO processes, frameworks, and governance standards

  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., PM Software, MS Project, Jira, Visio, Confluence, and Excel)

  • Strong understanding of risk management, change management, and stakeholder management

  • Exposure in business operations related to; manufacturing, distribution and financial operations will be an advantage

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Certification is a plus (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications)

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
