Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
Lead, train, and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure excellent service
Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization across the caf
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
Manage cash registers and daily financial reporting
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Work with marketing or management to plan and promote seasonal specials, events, or loyalty programs
Monitor sales, costs, and profitability, and recommend improvements when needed
