Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cafe Captain, located in North Goa. The Cafe Captain will oversee day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring efficient service, training staff, maintaining service standards, and managing customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with the kitchen team, monitoring cleanliness, handling customer queries, and maintaining inventory to support seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality operations, including team coordination and leadership
- Customer service skills, including problem-solving and handling guest interactions with professionalism
- Knowledge of food and beverage services, including menu familiarity and attention to presentation
- Organizational and multitasking skills, including inventory management and scheduling
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive team collaboration
- Proficiency in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in food service environments
- Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage
- Commitment to working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
