Job Description – CADMATIC Piping Design Checker
Position: CADMATIC Piping Design Checker
Experience: 5–7 Years
Location: Bangalore
Project Duration: Up to March 2027
Joining: Immediate Joiners Only
Industry: Shipbuilding / Marine Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Review and check CADMATIC piping designs and 3D models for shipbuilding projects.
- Check piping routing, layouts, equipment connections, supports, valves, fittings, and related drawings.
- Identify design errors, clashes, interference, and constructability issues.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and shipbuilding practices.
- Review piping arrangement drawings, isometrics, and fabrication drawings.
- Coordinate with designers and engineers to resolve design issues and ensure corrections are incorporated.
- Perform detailed model checking and ensure the design is suitable for fabrication and installation.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve interface/clash issues.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in piping design/checking.
- Strong experience in CADMATIC Piping / 3D Modelling.
- Mandatory experience in Shipbuilding / Marine Piping Design.
- Good knowledge of piping routing, supports, equipment connections, valves, and fittings.
- Experience in 3D model review and design checking.
- Ability to identify clashes and design/constructability issues.
- Good understanding of shipbuilding standards and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Project is based in Bangalore and will continue up to March 2027.
- Candidates with strong CADMATIC + Ship Piping + Checker experience will be preferred.
