Role Description The CAD Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for overseeing all CAD standards, workflows, and deliverables across engineering and construction projects. This role manages the implementation and maintenance of CAD and BIM processes, ensuring accurate, consistent, and compliant construction drawings and digital models. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising a CAD team, reviewing and coordinating project drawings, resolving design and documentation issues, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project timelines and quality requirements. The CAD Manager will also lead software configuration, template and library management, training and mentoring of team members, and continuous improvement of drafting and modeling practices. Additional duties include supporting cross-functional coordination, enforcing documentation best practices, and contributing to project planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows, with the ability to oversee complex design and drafting activities.
- Experience with CAD Standards and Building Information Modeling (BIM), ensuring consistency, interoperability, and compliance across projects.
- Ability to develop, review, and manage Construction Drawings, including coordination among multiple disciplines and revision control.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Relevant experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments, preferably in a CAD management or lead CAD role.
- Familiarity with common CAD/BIM platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or equivalent) and document management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to enforce quality and process standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to train and mentor team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
