CAD Designer
Full-time, Bengaluru (Cooke Town)
Shroff Studio is looking for a CAD Designer who can translate jewellery design concepts into precise, manufacturable CAD models while ensuring accuracy in diamond planning, gold weight estimation, and production feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- CAD Design & Technical Development - detailed knowledge of Rhino 3D or other jewellery CAD software
- Collaboration with Design Team - providing technical support and inputs
- Diamond Planning and Metal Estimation
- Design Documentation & Costing
- Production & Karigar Coordination
- Exhibition & Sales support
What we are looking for:
- Proficiency in Rhino CAD for jewellery design
- Understanding of diamond shapes, sizes, and stone setting techniques
- Ability to estimate gold weight and diamond carat weight accurately
- Strong attention to detail and technical precision
- Good communication skills for coordinating with designers and karigars
- Interest in jewellery craftsmanship and diamond jewellery
- Willingness to assist during exhibitions and customer interactions
Experience & Background:
- Prior experience in a CAD designer role (2-3 years)
- Portfolio of prior work
