Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Engineer - Steel Structures located in Bengaluru. The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed physical designs and steel structure models, utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. Daily tasks include collaborating with engineering teams, developing and modifying design plans, managing project specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and expertise in developing structural designs
- Strong skills in Physical Design, with experience in steel structures
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and their application to structural projects
- Experience with EDA tools and platforms, such as Cadence, to optimize design processes
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil engineering or a related field
- 3 to 5 yrs+ similar experience preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes
