Role Description This full-time, on-site CAD Engineer role is based in Bengaluru South. The CAD Engineer will create, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings and models, ensuring they meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with design and engineering teams, interpreting technical documents and sketches, updating drawings based on feedback and design changes, and preparing documentation for manufacturing or construction. The role also involves performing quality checks on drawings, maintaining organized project files, and supporting cross-functional coordination to ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs. The CAD Engineer is expected to participate in continuous improvement efforts, adopt best practices, and contribute to a safe and efficient on-site working environment.
Qualifications
- Strong CAD proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar), including 2D drafting and 3D modeling skills.
- Experience with engineering design principles, technical drawings, and industry standards relevant to mechanical, civil, or manufacturing projects.
- Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and engineering documentation, and translate them into accurate digital models.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset, with skills in checking, reviewing, and revising drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Effective collaboration skills, including working with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, production) and communicating clearly in en_US.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, construction methods, or product development workflows is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru South and adapt to client-specific tools, standards, and project requirements.
- Previous experience in an outsourcing or engineering services environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
