Role Description The Cad Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. The Cad Engineer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing detailed CAD drawings and models for civil and mechanical engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with design and project teams, integrating EDA tools and platforms such as Cadence when required, and supporting physical design workflows. The role involves reviewing designs for feasibility, preparing documentation and drawing packages, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and maintaining organized CAD files and libraries. The Cad Engineer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and support the delivery of innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills with experience in creating and managing detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Physical Design concepts relevant to civil, structural, or mechanical systems and layouts.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with EDA tools and workflows, including experience with platforms such as Cadence where applicable.
- Relevant skills and qualifications include proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment, are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus prior experience in CAD or design roles, will be an advantage.
