Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cad Designer cum Site Supervisor – Junior role based in Coimbatore. The team member will assist in preparing and updating CAD drawings, technical layouts, and construction drawings under the guidance of senior engineers or designers. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings, coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring that designs are implemented correctly on-site. The role involves conducting site measurements, monitoring work progress, checking adherence to drawings and quality standards, and reporting any discrepancies or issues. The Cad Designer cum Site Supervisor – Junior will also support documentation, maintain drawing records, follow safety and compliance guidelines, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Technical Drawing and Drawing, with the ability to interpret and produce clear, precise sketches and plans.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, modifying, and updating design and layout drawings.
- Experience or training in Construction Drawings, including reading, understanding, and applying them in site execution.
- Basic knowledge of Design Engineering principles to support practical, efficient, and compliant design solutions.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Willingness to work on-site, conduct field visits, and supervise activities as per project requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills to interact with project teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to follow instructions and project timelines.
- Familiarity with basic MS Office tools and digital documentation; prior exposure to construction or engineering projects is an advantage.
