Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented CAD Designer proficient in Rhino and Matrix to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting 2D CAD Designs into accurate 3D CAD models suitable for Rendering. The candidate will also receive in-house training in rendering and creating realistic product images and videos to bring the designs to life for client presentations and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Convert 2D jewellery CAD files into detailed 3D CAD models using Rhino/Matrix.
2. Ensure all CAD files are technically sound and ready for production, maintaining design accuracy, proportion, and balance.
3. Collaborate with designers and gemologists to understand design intent and specifications.
4. (Post-training) Assist in creating high-quality renders and product videos for design presentation and marketing use.
Skills & Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Rhino and Matrix is mandatory.
2. Good understanding of jewellery design fundamentals, measurements, and stone settings.
3. Ability to visualize 2D sketches into precise 3D forms.
4. Detail-oriented, patient, and able to work under timelines.
5. Eagerness to learn rendering and presentation techniques (training will be provided)
Education:
- Diploma or Certification in Jewellery Design / CAD Designing or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
