About the Job:
We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer who understands structures, product design, and jewellery design, along with how things actually work in real-world applications.
This role requires a balance of technical knowledge and creative thinking to design accurate, functional, and visually appealing models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models for structural, product, and jewellery designs
- Understand and apply real-world design principles, dimensions, and tolerances
- Develop designs that are both functional and manufacturable.
- Work on detailed CAD models with clean structure and proper organization
- Collaborate with the team to convert ideas into practical designs
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of structures and how components work together
- Knowledge of design principles, materials, and basic engineering concepts
- Ability to think in 3D and visualize real-world applications
- Attention to detail and precision in modelling.
- Understanding of basic jewellery structures and proportions
- Awareness of stone setting, metal thickness, and manufacturability
- Ability to create clean and production-ready jewellery models
Software Requirements:
- AutoCAD (2D drafting)
- One 3D software: Rhino / Fusion 360 / SolidWorks
- Blender (for rendering/animation)
- MatrixGold / ZBrush (for jewellery design)
Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory):
Share your portfolio including:
- CAD drawings (2D + 3D)
- Product or structural designs
- Jewellery design samples (if available)
