Role Description The Cad Designer role at Kitchen-Tech is a full-time, on-site position located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Cad Designer will prepare detailed technical and construction drawings for commercial kitchen layouts, equipment placement, and fabrication details using CAD software. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design requirements, coordinating with design engineers and production teams, updating drawings to reflect project changes, and ensuring all plans comply with safety, hygiene, and performance standards. The role involves collaborating with sales and project teams to translate client specifications into practical designs and supporting the manufacturing process with accurate documentation and drawings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Technical Drawing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Drawing and Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering for commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and familiarity with sheet metal or fabrication drawings.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong spatial visualization, attention to detail, and ability to interpret design briefs and technical specifications.
- Experience in kitchen equipment design, industrial fabrication, or related manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
