## What You'll Work On
As a CAD Design Engineer Intern, you will work directly with the founding engineering team to design industrial machinery used in recycling and metal refining plants.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Design industrial equipment in 3D using CAD software
* Develop complete machine assemblies and plant layouts
* Create manufacturing-ready part models and detailed fabrication drawings
* Design sheet metal, welded structures, shafts, gearboxes, conveyors, hoppers, frames, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment
* Create exploded views, assembly instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
* Optimize existing machine designs for manufacturability and cost
* Collaborate with process engineers to integrate mechanical and chemical process equipment
* Assist in prototyping and validation of new concepts
* Support design documentation for manufacturing and client proposals
