Role Description The CAD CAM Programmer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs based on technical drawings and design specifications for milling and machining operations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing tool paths, selecting appropriate cutting tools and machining strategies, validating programs through simulations, and coordinating with operators to ensure smooth production. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to improve machining efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain high-quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashik, requiring regular presence on the shop floor to support setup, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing interpretation and CAD model handling.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Milling and general Machining processes.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with CAD (AutoCad, SolidWorks) /CAM (DELCAM, Powermill, Mastercam) software and G-code.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in precision machining of metals and special materials, and knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds is beneficial.
