We're hiring on behalf of one of our clients for the position of CAD/CAM Lead.
If you're passionate about transforming concepts into fabrication-ready designs and enjoy working directly with clients, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end custom design projects.
📍 Location: Remote (Work from Home) – Core working hours aligned with U.S. business hours
💼 Experience: 3+ Years
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead client design consultations to understand project requirements and site constraints.
✅ Create accurate 3D models and technical drawings for custom design projects.
✅ Develop fabrication-ready drawings, cut lists, and production documentation.
✅ Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
✅ Help establish design standards, workflows, and best practices.
Required Skills
✔️ Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD/CAM software.
✔️ Strong expertise in 3D Modeling and Technical Drafting.
✔️ Experience creating fabrication-ready drawings and production documentation.
✔️ Strong spatial reasoning and understanding of manufacturing or construction principles.
✔️ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients.
✔️ Ability to independently manage projects from concept to final design.
Preferred Experience
⭐ Custom Millwork / Cabinetry / Woodworking
⭐ CNC/CAM & Fabrication Workflows
⭐ Architecture, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, or Product Design
