Job Description: Company Name CACTUS Position Intern, Information Security & Compliance Engineer Qualifications Bachelor's/ Master's Degree Batch 2024/ 2025/ 2026/ 2027 Experience Freshers Location Across India Key Responsibilities: Manage and periodically review access controls across systems. Conduct regular reviews of database (DB), VPN, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories across teams. Revoke system access for departing employees in a timely manner. Perform periodic reviews of implemented compliance measures. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for smaller projects. Follow up on technology-related projects and provide regular status updates. Perform internal Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on websites. Regularly review and update security protocols to ensure effectiveness. Conduct periodic reviews of Data Privacy Impact Analysis reports. Respond to security questionnaires received from potential and existing clients. Assist the Information Security Management System (ISMS) team in ISO 27001 information security audits. Eligibility Criteria: Strong understanding of Information Security principles. Good knowledge of application security concepts and practices. Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. Proficiency in technologies such as HTML, scripting languages, SQL, and basic Unix commands. Understanding of basic networking concepts, including protocols, ports, TLS, HTTP, and HTTPS. Knowledge of personal data privacy laws such as GDPR and PECR. Familiarity with security testing tools like ZAP and BurpSuite is desirable. Basic understanding of AWS Cloud infrastructure. Willingness to learn and complete tasks efficiently.
