Job Title: Cabin Design Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabin Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing operator cabins for heavy equipment and industrial machinery while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop operator cabins and structural components for heavy equipment, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Creo.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering documentation, and manufacturing drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, testing, and quality departments, to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform design reviews and implement engineering changes based on customer requirements and project needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and product quality requirements.
- Support prototype development, validation activities, and product testing.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide engineering solutions to improve product performance and manufacturability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design, cost efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Drafting).
- Experience in cabin design, vehicle structures, or heavy equipment engineering.
- Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, welding, sheet metal, and fabrication.
- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and engineering change management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, mining equipment, or commercial vehicle industries.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill.
- Exposure to prototype development, validation, and testing activities.
