Role Description The CA Article Trainee
Will work full time on-site in the Pune Division, supporting the finance and accounts function under the guidance of qualified professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities includes assisting in SEZ and GST compliances, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of accounts, as well as supporting statutory, internal, and tax audits. The trainee will help prepare management reports and working papers for compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Additional tasks may include assisting in statutory, other day to day compliances, and participating in the implementation and documentation of internal controls. The role offers practical exposure to manufacturing sector finance, tax, and audit processes aligned with the CA curriculum.
Qualifications
Enrollment as a Chartered Accountancy industrial Trainee with completion of required ICAI norms for qualification as industrial trainee.
Basic understanding of taxation (direct and indirect), auditing concepts, and relevant Indian accounting and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP software; ability to work with financial data accurately and systematically.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial information.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Ready to work on-site in Pune Division, manage time efficiently, and collaborate in a structured, manufacturing-focused environment.
Interest in gaining exposure to tax accounting and financial controls within an industrial/automotive setting.
