Role Overview
The CA Trainee position will be based with one of our clients or portfolio companies. The role offers hands-on exposure to support private investments, portfolio monitoring, valuation, fund management, investor reporting, and transaction structuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sector, company, and market research to support investment decisions.
- Prepare investment notes, internal analysis, and investor/board presentation (including pitch decks and investment memorandums).
- Track portfolio performance and assist in periodic investor reporting.
- Support proposal preparation, engagement documentation, and business development initiatives.
- Support meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up documentation.
- Support statutory and regulatory compliance.
Candidate Profile
- CA Final student currently training with a reputed audit or taxation firm
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Basic knowledge of investing, valuation and corporate finance
- Proficiency in spoken English and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory)
- Mumbai based ONLY
