Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Fresher role based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting in statutory and issuer audits, supporting forensic accounting and investigation assignments, and contributing to internal controls and systems audits. The candidate will help prepare working papers, financial reports, and documentation in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, performing test procedures, validating internal controls, and supporting cross-border taxation and due diligence engagements under the guidance of senior team members. The role also includes collaborating with colleagues across offices, participating in client meetings, and maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and taxation.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, statutory audits, and internal controls, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
- Interest or foundational exposure to areas such as forensic accounting, investigations, management assurance, and due diligence.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with audit and accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate within cross-functional and cross-location teams.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to evolving regulations and standards, and maintain high ethical and professional conduct.
