Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CA Article Trainee based in Mumbai. The trainee will assist in financial audits, preparing tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, and performing management accounting tasks. Responsibilities also include learning and adhering to accounting principles, conducting research for taxation and compliance needs, and supporting senior professionals in handling client projects and statutory audits.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing protocols
- Familiarity with taxation laws, compliance processes, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Strong organizational skills paired with attention to detail for managing deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients
- Enrollment in a CA program and completion of required qualifications (e.g., IPCC) is mandatory
