Role Description
The CA Article Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Trainee will assist in various audit assignments, preparation of financial statements, and tax filings. Day-to-day tasks include data analysis, conducting compliance checks, reviewing financial records, and assisting with GST, income tax, and other statutory filings. The Trainee will also participate in accounting processes, supporting the finance team, and liaise with clients to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Auditing
- Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other indirect/direct tax processes
- Strong analytical and data handling skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage time effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (required)
- Enrollment in CA Articleship program with ICAI (required)
- Teamwork and a proactive mindset to learn and contribute to projects
