Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a CA Article Assistant / Audit Executive. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing and reviewing working papers, and supporting the preparation of audit reports and financial statements. Responsibilities include performing GST and income tax-related compliances, reconciling accounts, and supporting filing and documentation requirements. The professional will analyze financial data, identify variances and risks, and collaborate with senior team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory and firm standards. The role also includes interacting with clients for data collection, clarifications, and process improvements, while maintaining organized records and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Statements, including understanding of ledgers, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flows.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in Audit Reports and related documentation, with attention to detail and compliance with professional standards.
- Working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and basic Income Tax concepts, with the ability to assist in return preparation, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support management in decision-making.
- Pursuing CA (Article), semi-qualified CA, or commerce graduate/postgraduate with a focus in accounting, finance, or taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; familiarity with audit tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, professional conduct with clients, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, integrity, and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic professional setting.
