Reports To: CEO/Senior Operations Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a fast-growing C2C tech consulting firm specializing in placing highly skilled IT consultants with Tier-1 vendors and direct clients across the United States. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Consultant Success & Delivery Manager to own the full consultant-side operations from bench onboarding through to placement.
This is a critical operational leadership role focused entirely on the consultant side of the business. Delivery in this context means owning the operational infrastructure that takes a consultant from onboarding to placement — building and enforcing SOPs, running marketing and interview training, monitoring daily marketing activity, and tracking upskilling progress. You are the operational backbone of the consultant side — the person who ensures quality, accountability, and consistency from day one of onboarding to the day a consultant gets placed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consultant Onboarding and Readiness
- Own the full post-onboarding workflow — conduct resume alignment, profile positioning, and market fit assessment for every new consultant; enforce a readiness sign-off process ensuring no consultant moves to active marketing without a market-aligned resume, clear target job profile, and defined marketing strategy
- Coordinate with the HR Coordinator on documentation, OPT authorization deadlines, training plan requirements, and visa status changes; enforce communication and availability standards with every consultant from day one — reachable during US business hours, responsive to vendor calls, and professionally engaged at all times
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all bench consultants — build trust while maintaining firm performance expectations and escalating compliance or availability issues to the Senior Operations Manager immediately
Marketing Training, Quality and Consultant Accountability
- Design, maintain, and enforce SOPs across all consultant-facing processes — marketing training, vendor call conduct, interview preparation, and daily activity standards; deliver marketing training programs teaching consultants how to present themselves effectively, communicate professionally on vendor calls, and engage confidently with clients
- Conduct and coordinate mock interview and vendor call sessions — prepare consultants for every stage of the screening process; collect and analyze feedback after every session to continuously raise preparation standards and refine SOPs
- Monitor all bench consultants daily for marketing activity, responsiveness, and engagement — set clear daily targets covering calls, applications, LinkedIn activity, job board outreach, and email drops for OPT consultants marketing alongside the bench sales team; hold consultants accountable to targets and escalate underperformance or disengagement immediately
- Monitor consultant attendance in technology training programs and track upskilling progress — escalate those falling behind, recommend repositioning where market demand or skill gaps require it, and advise leadership on training priorities based on current market trends
- Work closely with the bench sales team to stay aligned on submission activity and vendor feedback — use that feedback to continuously improve consultant readiness, training quality, and marketing effectiveness
Reporting and Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate trackers and dashboards covering consultant readiness status, daily activity levels, training progress, upskilling completion, and placement pipeline; report key metrics to leadership regularly — interview conversion rates, placement success rates, bench utilization, and consultant engagement scores
- Continuously identify gaps in consultant operations and improve SOPs, training programs, and accountability frameworks based on data, vendor feedback, and placement outcomes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of US IT staffing experience in a delivery, bench operations, or consultant management role — prior experience owning consultant-side operations in a C2C staffing environment is a firm requirement
- Strong understanding of the C2C staffing model including visa categories — H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and US Citizens — and OPT training plan compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing and developing bench consultants — mock interviews, resume reviews, marketing training, and coaching — with solid understanding of key technology domains to assess profiles, identify skill gaps, and recommend upskilling strategies independently
- Strong operational mindset — able to build and enforce SOPs, maintain quality standards, and manage consultant accountability across a large and diverse bench simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills to build consultant trust while maintaining firm performance expectations — able to handle difficult conversations about performance, availability, and conduct with professionalism and clarity
- Proactive and ownership-driven — personally accountable for consultant readiness and placement outcomes; never lets a bench consultant go cold, disengaged, or unprepared on their watch
- Familiarity with ATS or CRM tools for tracking consultant pipeline and activity is a strong advantage
WHY JOIN US
- End-to-end ownership of consultant-side operations in a fast-growing firm — your SOPs, training standards, and accountability frameworks will define how the firm prepares and places consultants as it scales
- Build and eventually lead the consultant operations team as the firm grows — direct path into senior delivery leadership with the opportunity to hire, train, and develop junior delivery staff under your ownership
- Work directly with a diverse community of IT consultants across multiple technology domains and visa categories — build meaningful professional relationships while driving real placement outcomes every day
- Performance-based incentives on top of competitive fixed salary with direct visibility to senior leadership and a collaborative environment working closely with recruitment and bench sales every day
