About the Role
We are seeking a C# Developer with a passion for quality and automation to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable automation frameworks from the ground up. Your role will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance, ensuring our web applications, APIs, and databases meet the highest standards of reliability.
Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
- API Testing: Develop and execute automated scripts for RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or custom C# frameworks.
- Database Validation: Perform backend testing by writing complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and state.
- Integration: Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions).
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify automation candidates and debug software flaws.
- Reporting: Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports to stakeholders using tools like Jira.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Core Programming: Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Automation Tools: Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
- API & Database: Proven ability to test web services and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Design Patterns: Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) and other clean-code patterns for automation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
Pay range and compensation package
Notice Period: Preferably Immediate hire / 15-30 days notice period.
