Abstract:
Client develops and manufactures a wide range of hydraulic components with onboard electronics used in various applications. The configuration of these onboard electronics is carried out using specialized software solutions that are developed and maintained in-house. These applications enable the configuration of functions such as control behavior, current settings, and control curves – both for standard products and customer-specific solutions.
Responsibilities:
The software developer will be involved in the following areas:
- Development of C# applications for configuring and diagnosing onboard electronics in hydraulic components
- Maintenance and further development of existing software solutions (WPF, .NET)
- Integration of communication interfaces, especially CAN bus (e.g., CANopen, J1939)
- Creation of tools for visualization and evaluation of measurement data
- Further developing our existing SharePoint landscape.
Technical Focus Areas:
- Development using C# and WPF in the .NET environment
- Communication with embedded systems via CAN bus
- Handling configuration data, parameter settings, and firmware updates
- Application of design patterns and clean code principles
- Version control with Git, including automated build and deployment processes using Azure Pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Degree in Computer Science Master
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development with C#
- Solid knowledge of WPF, MVVM, and .NET Framework/Core
- Knowledge of CAN communication and related protocols
- Understanding and hands-on experience in applying AI-assisted software development.
- Willingness to work with simulation tools
- Participation in international, interdisciplinary development teams
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
