Job Description As a Technical Writer at Butterfly, you will be responsible formaintaining and owning documentation and best practices across the Software organization. From maintaining software requirements that meet IEC-62304 standards, to ensuring that our evolving architecture documents reflect reality, this role is critical for the knowledge sharing and retention of information in Butterfly as we continue to grow and scale our product. About the Team: The Butterfly Software team shipped version 1.0 of our app in Fall of 2018 and won its first Apple Design Award one year later. Our application and infrastructure was built by engineers from leading companies such as Autodesk, Apple, Spotify, Uber and more. We strongly believe in extreme focus, incremental work, transparency, collaboration, and use these guiding principles to improve both our codebase and individual skill sets on a daily basis. As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: Create and refine technical information and other various materials for explaining products and services Create technical documents that convey accurate messaging for the project Help document engineering decisions that provide context on technical decisions Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications and budget restrictions Implement comprehensive technical documentation, feedback, and changes whenever possible Own and update release documentation as needed with each release
