Role Overview:
As a BDM Intern, you will play a key role in driving B2B partnerships by connecting LineupX with colleges, universities, and EdTech organizations. This is a high-impact, performance-driven role where your efforts directly contribute to company growth and revenue.
Key Resposibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential partner institutions (colleges, universities, EdTechs)
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified B2B leads
- Use LinkedIn, databases, and outbound strategies to generate leads
Outreach and Relation Building:
- Initiate contact via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Pitch LineupX’s value proposition to decision-makers (TPOs, placement heads, founders)
- Build and nurture relationships with institutional stakeholders
Sales conversion and clousure:
- Schedule and assist in product demos
- Follow up with prospects and move them through the sales funnel
- Work towards closing partnerships with institutions
Pipeling and CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and deal stages
- Track daily/weekly performance metrics
- Ensure consistent follow-ups and engagement
Market Insights and Stratergies:
- Gather insights from conversations to refine pitch and strategy
- Provide feedback to improve product positioning and messaging
Who should apply:
- Students or recent graduates interested in B2B sales, startups, or SaaS
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with outreach
- Prior experience in sales/BD (internships/projects) is a plus
