Associate / Asst Manager / Manager – Valuation & Transaction Advisory
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate / Asst Manager / Manager to lead valuation and transaction advisory engagements across sectors. The role involves overseeing complex valuation assignments, advising clients on transaction-related matters, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and driving high-quality deliverables while mentoring teams and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage valuation engagements including business valuation, share valuation, purchase price allocation (PPA), impairment testing, fairness opinions, and transaction support assignments.
● Develop and review valuation models using methodologies such as DCF, Comparable Companies, Comparable Transactions, and other relevant approaches.
● Analyze financial statements, projections, market trends, and industry dynamics to assess value drivers and transaction considerations.
● Provide strategic advisory support across mergers, acquisitions, fund-raising, restructuring, and other corporate transactions.
● Review and finalize valuation reports, technical memos, and client presentations ensuring compliance with applicable standards (Ind AS, IFRS, ICAI Valuation Standards).
● Act as a key client-facing leader, managing relationships with promoters, CFOs, private equity investors, bankers, and legal advisors.
● Oversee end-to-end project execution including scoping, timelines, resource allocation, and quality control across multiple engagements.
● Mentor, guide, and review the work of Assistant Managers, and team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
● Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, pitch decks, thought leadership, and sector-specific valuation insights.
● Stay updated on regulatory changes, valuation best practices, and market developments relevant to transaction advisory.
● Contribute to knowledge management, process improvement, and strengthening internal valuation frameworks and tools.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
● Strong expertise in valuation methodologies, corporate finance, and transaction advisory.
● Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
● In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS) and ICAI Valuation Standards.
● Strong report writing, documentation, and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
● Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements and deliver under tight deadlines.
● Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and client-management skills.
● High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling tools, and data analysis platforms.
