Role Description The Unit Head at People Combine is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations of the unit, ensuring smooth daily functioning and exceptional guest experiences. This full-time, on-site role is based in (Hyderabad & Chityala) and includes managing people scheduling, supervising service quality, and monitoring food safety and hygiene practices. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing budgets, optimizing costs, and analyzing performance metrics to meet sales and profitability targets. The Unit Head will coordinate with kitchen and service teams, oversee inventory and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations. The position also includes developing and mentoring team members, handling customer feedback, supporting marketing initiatives, and implementing process improvements to strengthen the unit’s performance and brand presence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management, preferably in high-volume dining environment.
- Should have worked in chain of restaurants, standalone property profiles are not considered.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, including team building, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to manage operations, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent customer service orientation with skills in handling guest feedback and driving service quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and implement improvements.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages used in Hyderabad is an advantage.
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements in the hospitality sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
