About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact Business Strategy & Analytics professional to support the Project Management Office (PMO) of our Super Refractories business.
The role requires a strong business, financial, and industry perspective, working closely with leadership, finance, and cross‑functional teams to drive strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PMO through financial modelling, business case preparation, and Capex proposals
- Conduct industry and peer analysis to identify trends, benchmarks, and competitive insights
- Perform root cause analysis on lagging business areas and recommend corrective actions
- Track long‑term strategy execution through monitoring of lead indicators
- Build dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI / Tableau
- Perform deep data analysis, with a strong focus on CRM data, to generate actionable insights
- Work closely with the Finance team to track and monitor cost excellence initiatives
- Track the refractories industry, identifying white spaces and growth opportunities
- Prepare high‑quality presentations for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Business Reviews
Required Capabilities & Skills
- Strong capability in industry analysis and competitor/peer benchmarking
- Excellent financial modelling and business case development skills
- Advanced data analysis and Excel proficiency, including dashboard creation
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills – ability to conceptualize, create, and coordinate inputs from multiple functions
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management
Qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering
- MBA from a reputed institute with strong exposure to finance, strategy, or analytics
- Candidates with a broad business and industry orientation will be preferred.
