What we’re looking for:
The Junior SAP Security & GRC Consultant will support SAP Security administration and SAP GRC Access Control operations across SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems. The role focuses on user access management, role maintenance, authorization troubleshooting, risk analysis, and audit support under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Security & Authorization Management
- End to end SAP security administration across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, MDG, CRM, Ariba, and related systems
- Design and maintain authorization concepts and role architecture (Single, Composite, Derived, Business, and Fiori roles)
- Maintain and optimize SU24 authorization proposals for standard and custom transactions
- Perform advanced authorization troubleshooting using SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, SM20, SUIM
- Manage mass user administration (user provisioning, role assignments, locking/unlocking, validity extensions)
SAP GRC Access Control Support
- Support Daily Operations of SAP GRC Access Control
- Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Access Request Management (ARM)
- Emergency Access Management (EAM / Firefighter)
- Business Role Management (BRM)
- User Access Review (UAR)
- Perform user level and role level risk analysis
- Assist in SoD risk remediation and mitigation assignments
- Perform periodic risk analysis, remediation, and mitigation assignments at user and role level.
Fiori Security
- Assist & support Fiori security
- Catalogs, Groups, Spaces, Tiles
- OData service authorizations
- Troubleshoot Fiori authorization issues using system traces and error logs
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support SAP security & GRC internal & external audit activities (SOX, ITGC, GDPR, SOC, etc.)
- Prepare and provide audit evidence, access reports (SUIM, SM20), and remediation documentation.
- Assist in access reviews and periodic control checks
- Document access changes and remediation activities for audit evidence
Operations & Collaboration
- Handle incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
- Ensure ticket resolution within defined SLA timelines
- Coordinate SAP security activities with Corporate Security, Basis and Functional teams.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Support Security & GRC Reporting and analytics
- Continuously improving access provisioning efficiency and compliance posture Operations & Collaboration
- Handle incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
- Ensure ticket resolution within defined SLA timelines

Required Knowledge/Skills:
Technical Skills

- Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control 10.1 / 12.0

- Authorization Troubleshooting (SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE)

- License and security compliance
- Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to learn and follow standard security processes
- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Ability to work in support and project environments
- SAP Security / GRC Certifications preferred (not mandatory)
Required Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in SAP Security.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
