We're Hiring: Business Operations & Merchant Onboarding Intern | Graduate / Fresher / 0-1 Year Experience

We're looking for a Business Operations & Merchant Onboarding Intern to support the end-to-end merchant onboarding journey on our fintech platform, while helping improve operational processes and delivering exceptional merchant experience.
This role is ideal for freshers , graduates and early-career professionals (0-1 year), including candidates from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, who are looking to build a strong foundation in fintech operations, process excellence, project coordination, and merchant success.
What You'll Do
Merchant Onboarding & Success
- Support the end-to-end merchant onboarding journey from application submission to Go-Live.
- Coordinate collection of onboarding and KYC documentation from merchants.
- Track onboarding progress and ensure timely completion of all operational requirements.
- Act as a single point of coordination between merchants and internal teams during the onboarding process.
- Assist merchants during testing and Go-Live activities to ensure a smooth launch experience.
Process Excellence & Operations
- Maintain and update merchant onboarding trackers, checklists, and operational dashboards.
- Identify bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities to enhance onboarding efficiency.
- Assist in documenting and standardizing operational processes and workflows.
- Support the implementation of best practices to improve turnaround times and stakeholder experience.
- Help maintain operational repositories and documentation on SharePoint and other internal systems.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product, Technology, and Support teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding.
- Follow up on pending action items and ensure timely closure of onboarding activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve onboarding-related issues and dependencies.
- Support project execution by tracking milestones, deliverables, and operational updates.
Data Reporting & Operational Insights
- Maintain onboarding status reports and performance dashboards.
- Monitor key metrics such as onboarding turnaround time, conversion rates, and merchant Go-Live timelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support business reviews and operational decision-making.
- Analyze onboarding trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and merchant experience.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Arts, Economics, Operations, Management, or any related field.
· Freshers are encouraged to apply.
· Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
· A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Interest in fintech, business operations, startups, and digital payments.
