Role Description The Business Manager (Commercial Interior) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for overseeing commercial interior projects from business acquisition through delivery, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and budgets. The Business Manager manages client relationships, develops proposals, coordinates with design and execution teams, and drives revenue growth across assigned accounts and territories. Daily activities include project planning, tracking milestones, managing vendors and partners, reviewing commercials, and ensuring adherence to standardized workflows and quality standards. The role also involves market research, pipeline management, and collaboration with leadership to refine processes and support MaskotPlan’s scalable growth in commercial interiors.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial management skills, including business development, account management, and contract negotiation in interiors, construction, or related domains.
- Project and operations management expertise, covering project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and coordination across design, procurement, and execution teams.
- Client-facing capabilities, including stakeholder management, presentation skills, consultative selling, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans.
- Analytical and financial acumen, with experience in cost estimation, margin analysis, performance tracking, and use of data to optimize project and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with commercial interior workflows, vendor and material management, and multi-location rollouts is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for project management, CRM, documentation, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; advanced qualifications or MBA are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on reliability, ownership, and structured execution.
