We are hiring a Senior BI Engineer to support our enterprise HCM data platform for K‑12 clients. The role involves building high-quality Tableau dashboards, validating data in Snowflake, and partnering with Data Engineers and Product teams to deliver accurate, business-ready analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and publish Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
- Analyze and interpret datasets across Snowflake’s Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Validate data pipelines, SCD logic, and business rules.
- Work with Data Engineers and business users to define KPIs and reporting logic.
- Document dashboard logic, KPIs, and data lineage.
- Conduct demos, user training, and support adoption.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands‑on Tableau experience (LOD, calculations, parameters, performance tuning).
- Strong SQL for validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to explain insights clearly.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI or QuickSight.
- Knowledge of Snowflake RLS and secure views.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Basic Python for validation or automation.
- Understanding of HCM or workforce management data.
Ideal Candidate
Independent Tableau expert, detail‑oriented, strong in data validation, and comfortable working with engineering and business teams.
