Tooth Club Dental Practice is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Developer to support data-driven decision-making across our dental clinics. This role will focus on transforming clinical, operational, and financial data into meaningful insights that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and business growth.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership, clinical teams, and administrative staff to design dashboards, reports, and data solutions that support performance tracking, patient trends, revenue optimization, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with dental practice leadership and operational teams to understand reporting and analytics needs
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports (e.g., patient flow, treatment outcomes, revenue, chair utilization, cancellations, and no-shows)
- Analyse clinical, scheduling, billing, and patient data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines from practice management systems and other data sources
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Monitor and improve performance of BI solutions and reporting systems
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions
- Document BI solutions, data definitions, and reporting standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a BI Analyst, BI Developer, or similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Ability to translate business and clinical needs into actionable data insights
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in healthcare or dental practice environments
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and compliance requirements
- Experience with Python or other data scripting languages
