Role Overview
The Business Head - Sampoulin (Maharashtra & Karnataka)will lead the regional sales function with complete revenue
accountability. The role requires a seasoned sales professional from the tarpaulin / HDPE /
PVC or related industry, with demonstrated experience in target achievement, team building,
and managing the complete sales lifecycle.
This is a strategic and execution-driven leadership position responsible for driving sustained
business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Management
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Ensure sustainable and profitable growth in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Sales Funnel Ownership
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and retention.
- Conduct territory mapping and structured prospecting.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure strong conversion ratios.
- Build long-term customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales team.
- Set clear performance metrics and monitor achievement.
- Conduct regular field visits, reviews, and coaching sessions.
Channel & Market Expansion
- Strengthen dealer and distributor networks.
- Develop institutional and B2B client relationships.
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion channels.
- Enhance brand visibility and market positioning of Sampoulin products.
Commercial & Operational Discipline
- Ensure pricing discipline and margin management.
- Oversee collections and receivables management.
- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
Travel Requirement
- The role involves regular and extensive field travel across Maharashtra and Karnataka for client acquisition, dealer development, relationship management, and market expansion initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the tarpaulin / HDPE / PVC or same
- industry (mandatory).
- Must be from a pure sales background only.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the same
- industry.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of B2B and channel sales models.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday - 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
