Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Head of Next Gen Lighting, based in Ahmedabad. The Business Head will be responsible for leading and managing the next-generation lighting segment, driving strategic planning, team leadership, and business expansion. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing project execution, fostering client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The role also involves monitoring market trends, budget management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Leadership and strategic planning skills, including team management and goal-setting capabilities
- Strong business development and client management skills with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities
- Deep understanding of sustainable lighting technologies, smart building automation, and energy-efficient solutions
- Experience in project management, process optimization, and financial planning
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Exposure to the lighting, energy, or infrastructure industry is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred
