Business Head - Fintech
We are hiring on behalf of a consumer fintech company backed by one of India’s leading wealth management institutions.
The company has already built and launched live fintech products, has existing financial services integrations, and is now entering its next phase focused on monetisation, strategic partnerships and credit-led growth.
We are looking for a senior fintech business leader who can own business execution, partnerships, revenue and operating outcomes for the company’s next phase.
This role carries meaningful equity from day one, with massive upside tied to agreed milestones.
The role covers three things:
Partnerships — negotiating and closing agreements with banks, NBFCs, and TSPs that make our credit product live. This is the most critical near-term deliverable.
Operations — owning business operations end-to-end. Compliance coordination, regulatory relationships, finance reporting, vendor management, and oversight of our B2B vertical through a dedicated lead.
Growth — taking the credit business from launch to scale. Credit book management, portfolio quality, NPA monitoring, capital utilisation, and building the Series A business case alongside the founder.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with proven experience in fintech, banking, NBFCs, embedded finance, lending, wealthtech, payments, cards, digital credit, or financial services
- Strong experience in fintech or financial services business building.
- Proven ability to close and manage strategic partnerships.
- Understanding of banks, NBFCs, fintech infrastructure, credit products or regulated financial services.
- Ability to work across business, product, tech, operations, finance and compliance.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to create revenue models.
- High ownership mindset with comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company externally.
