Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Head (C&I Solar) role based in Patna. The Business Head will be responsible for leading the growth and development of the company's commercial and industrial solar operations. Key responsibilities include business strategy formulation, project pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, managing the sales process, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This position requires direct interaction with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive business results and achieve organizational goals in line with our renewable energy vision.
Role Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for driving industrial and commercial solar business development, client acquisition, project coordination, and strategic growth across North India.
This is not a retail rooftop sales role.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands industrial/commercial clients and can help build a scalable business vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and close C&I solar opportunities across factories, warehouses, hospitals, schools, hotels, industrial parks, etc.
* Build relationships with industrial clients, consultants, EPC ecosystem players, and channel partners
* Understand client electricity consumption, tariffs, and solar feasibility
* Coordinate with design, execution, and management teams from proposal to commissioning
* Drive EPC and selective RESCO opportunities
* Support development of Kyrenza’s long-term C&I strategy
Preferred Background:
* 5–12 years experience in-
* C&I Solar
* Industrial Electrical Sales
* Energy Solutions
* EPC Sales
* Infrastructure Business Development
Required Skills:
* Strong B2B sales and negotiation capability
* Relationship-driven approach
* Commercial understanding of industrial power consumption and energy savings
* Ability to independently drive closures and execution coordination
Location Preference:
Candidates based in Delhi NCR or willing to travel frequently across North India preferred.
Compensation:
