Job Title: Business Head (D2C / Consumer Brand)

Salt Oral Care is a fast-growing premium oral care brand focused on building products that consumers don’t just try once — but come back to.
We are scaling across D2C, marketplaces, retail (GT/MT), and HORECA, with a vision to build a multi-channel and global consumer brand.
About the role
We are looking for a Business Head to lead and scale our brand to the next phase of growth. This is a high-impact leadership role with complete ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and business strategy.
You will work closely with the founders to drive category leadership, expansion (India + International), and multi-channel growth across D2C, marketplaces, and offline channels including HORECA.
This role requires a strong operator who can balance strategy with execution, and has experience scaling consumer brands in FMCG, personal care, healthcare, or skincare.
Key Responsibilities
Brand strategy and Positiong
- Define and drive the overall brand strategy across all channels (Amazon, D2C, quick commerce, retail)
- Ensure consistent brand communication and positioning across platforms
- Build a strong and differentiated consumer brand in oral care
Business & P&L Ownership
- Own the brand’s revenue, margins, and contribution
- Work closely with finance on pricing, cost structures, and profitability
- Track and optimise key metrics: revenue, CAC, LTV, retention, and contribution margin
Growth & Expansion
- Identify and drive growth opportunities across channels and markets
- Define international expansion strategy (UAE, US, UK, etc.)
- Evaluate new product opportunities and category expansion
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Decide pricing, discounting, and promotional strategies
- Balance growth with profitability across all channels
- Monitor channel-wise P&L and optimise performance
Operations & Supply Chain Alignment
- Work closely with operations to solve supply chain, logistics, and inventory issues
- Identify bottlenecks affecting sales and customer experience
- Ensure availability and efficient distribution across channels
Customer & Retention Strategy
- Analyse customer behaviour and repeat purchase patterns
- Build retention and lifecycle strategies to improve LTV
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to drive customer loyalty
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work across marketing, product, finance, operations, and sales teams
- Align all functions towards common business goals
- Drive execution with speed and accountability
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates who have worked in roles such as:
Category Manager (FMCG)
Business Head / P&L Owner in a D2C brand
Founder’s Office / Startup Operator
Growth Lead in a consumer brand
