Our platform enables AI-powered legal research, automated drafting, and real-time court notifications delivered over WhatsApp, helping lawyers, law firms, and enterprises work faster, smarter, and with greater accuracy.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Head to lead revenue growth, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy for Vakeel Assist. This is a foundational leadership role responsible for owning business outcomes, scaling adoption across legal professionals, and shaping the commercial strategy of a fast-growing Legal AI product. The role is based in Gurugram and involves close collaboration with the founders, product, engineering, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Own business strategy, revenue growth, and P&L for Vakeel Assist
● Define and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Legal AI products
● Drive customer acquisition across advocates, law firms, enterprises, and legal teams
● Build and manage sales, partnerships, and channel strategy
● Identify and close strategic partnerships (bar associations, legal tech platforms, enterprises)
● Translate market feedback into product and pricing strategy
● Lead enterprise and institutional sales cycles from pitch to closure
● Track KPIs, unit economics, and funnel metrics to drive sustainable growth
● Represent Vakeel Assist in industry forums, demos, and client meetings
Ideal Candidate Profile
● 8–15 years of experience in business leadership, sales, or GTM roles
● Experience in SaaS, LegalTech, AI products, or B2B platforms preferred
● Strong understanding of Indian legal market (lawyers, courts, compliance)
● Proven track record of scaling revenue and building teams
● Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
● Startup mindset with comfort in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
